About Kevin Strong

Kevin T. Strong is a partner with Claggett & Sykes Law Firm. Kevin is a lifelong Las Vegan who graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 2002. After high school, Kevin attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. In 2007, Kevin graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Finance and a Minor in Business Law. After undergraduate school, Kevin enrolled in law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law. During law school, Kevin was a member of the Real Estate Law Society and the Student Mentoring Program. In 2010, Kevin earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.).

Kevin began his legal career in October 2010 as a law clerk for The Honorable Frank P. Sullivan of the Eighth Judicial District Court – Family Division. During his time with Judge Sullivan, Kevin observed various courtroom proceedings, conducted legal research, and drafted court orders for both juvenile dependency and domestic matters. He also simultaneously assisted Probate Commissioner Wesley F. Yamashita, where he learned about various legal issues arising from probate matters.

At the conclusion of his judicial clerkship in the Summer of 2012, Kevin worked as an associate attorney for a law firm specializing in insurance defense. After two years, Kevin stopped representing insurance companies and instead, began representing personal injury victims and individuals wronged by their insurance companies. In 2014, Kevin joined a law firm where he specialized in personal injury litigation and insurance bad faith litigation under the tutelage of attorney Dennis M. Prince.

In 2019, Kevin continued his career with Mr. Prince at Prince Law Group. Kevin’s strong work ethic and eagerness to learn proved to be invaluable because he helped Prince Law Group effectively litigate numerous insurance bad faith and personal injury matters to achieve successful outcomes for their clients. Since 2016, Kevin also worked as an appellate attorney. Kevin drafted various briefs in numerous cases before the Nevada Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and, most recently, the United States Supreme Court.  Kevin’s appellate briefing also led to the United States Supreme Court’s January 25, 2021, denial of a Petition for Writ of Certiorari filed by one of the largest insurance companies in the United States.

For nearly ten years, Kevin gained extensive knowledge and expertise litigating matters involving personal injury and insurance bad faith on behalf of plaintiffs. Throughout his professional career, Kevin has focused on helping those who have unfairly suffered harm and losses. In 2024, Kevin joined Claggett & Sykes to continue his zealous legal representation of individuals who suffered catastrophic injuries and individuals who have been treated unfairly by their insurance companies.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their son, Joaquin. He also enjoys exercising, reading the newspaper, and analyzing the stock market.
