About Jade Askeroth
Jade Askeroth is an attorney who has dedicated his professional life to helping those in need of a rescue. Early in Jade's career, he gained nearly a decade of experience in the medical field and has served in various roles, including as a lifeguard, advanced EMT, ski patroller, wildland firefighter, pediatric medical assistant, skin cancer lab technician, and surgical assistant. Jade studied biology at Southern Utah University and earned a degree with the Bachelor of Science Zoology program. Jade also earned a minor degree in Spanish.
After a career in the medical field, Jade decided to join forces with his brother, Tom, to provide legal help to those who have suffered personal injury and workers' compensation claims. In 2013, Jade started working with Tom at a large injury law firm as a litigation specialist.
Being the determined person that he is, Jade decided to pursue his law studies at Mitchell Hamline School of Law while maintaining a full-time job. Jade worked tirelessly for many years and was able to successfully balance his full-time job with his studies. Jade attended night classes and studied for long hours in order to keep up with his course load. Jade was able to complete his law degree one year early due to his dedication and hard work.
In 2019, Jade and Tom opened Askeroth Law Group which has now merged with Claggett & Sykes. Joining Claggett & Sykes has allowed Jade to expand his services and provide even more help to those in need.
As a lawyer, Jade maintains his reputation as a "rescuer" for his tenacity and compassion in fighting for the rights of his clients. He is passionate about helping those who don't have the resources or know-how to navigate the legal system. He is a champion for justice and a powerful advocate for those who need it most.
In 2021, Jade’s son was born with a permanent physical disability. Jade has witnessed the daily challenges that his son faces. This has inspired Jade to be an advocate for those with disabilities. Jade believes that everyone should have the same opportunities in life regardless of their physical or mental abilities. He is committed to using his legal expertise to make sure that happens.
When he’s not in the office, you can find Jade spending time outdoors with his wife and son- he loves the mountains, fly fishing, and a good baseball game. A great problem solver, Jade is known to always have a weekend home improvement project.
